Creamer's Field (May 1st)

Grus canadensis (Sandhill Crane).
They have come back to Creamer's Field!

We went to Creamer's Field to see some cranes.
We saw 5 of them today...2 couples and 1 lonesome one.
Almost all the snow on the field has melted away and water is also dried up and reducing on the ground.  There are not as many swans as before, but they are still here in Fairbanks.
